Reproduction of the fireplace from La Ferme aux Grives – Maison Guérard, 40 - Landes

This monumental Burgundy stone fireplace was created for the client of a fellow mason (SARL Prudence), based in the Pau region. During a visit to La Ferme aux Grives at Maison Guérard in Eugénie-les-Bains, the client experienced a true coup de cœur for this historic fireplace and wished to recreate its spirit and proportions within his own project. We therefore carved this fireplace as a faithful reproduction of the original model, respecting its lines, presence, and character. No less than nine tonnes of stone were required to bring this piece to life, entirely crafted in our workshop. A tooled finish was applied to ensure it integrates naturally with the architecture of the old barn for which it was intended.
