This kitchen project is centered around a granite island, conceived as a strong focal element within the space. The existing timber framing was embedded into the countertop, allowing the veining to continue uninterrupted and flow naturally through the structure. This sense of continuity gives the kitchen a character that is both bohemian and distinctive, where the material asserts itself with elegance.
