A staircase is referred to as a rack staircase when its stringer precisely follows the shape of the steps. This principle gives it a more structured appearance, defined by a succession of pronounced right angles. A true architectural feature, it asserts itself as a strong element within the home without seeking to blend in, bringing a distinctly industrial character. The particularity of this project lies in its central intermediate landing, which serves two separate upper levels and made it possible to preserve the existing roof structure during the restoration.
