The Landais

Burgundy stone countertop and basin with a rustic finish, 40 - Landes

For this project, the client wished for a bathroom with a distinctly rustic character, fully in keeping with the spirit of this traditional Landais home. We designed and crafted the entire ensemble in stone, the countertop, the monolithic basin, and the jambs, favoring simple, understated forms. Each element was conceived to integrate naturally with the existing structure, to dialogue with the aged materials, and to respect the soul of the place. The aim of this project was to create an authentic, timeless ensemble, where the stone finds its place without artifice, as if it had always been part of the house.
