The workshop

Originally dedicated to the restoration of historic buildings, our company naturally turned to stone carving in order to meet both architectural and decorative projects, while preserving the heritage of our region.
This is how our workshop was founded in 2012, a place where the passion for the craft is passed down from father to son and continues to evolve over the years.
Today, the precision of digital machines meets the accuracy of traditional craftsmanship.
On this page, we invite you to discover our workshop, our working methods and the way we bring each project to life.

You will also find the latest news from our workshop at the bottom of the page.

Modélisation 3D sur mesure en début de projet

3D modelling

Each project begins with 3D modelling. This stage allows us to work with you on shapes, proportions and details, in order to precisely define the model that meets your expectations. Visualising the project makes discussions easier, refines decisions and allows us to move forward confidently before carving the stone.

Cutting the stone block with a diamond wire

Once the project is defined, everything starts from a block weighing several tonnes. We cut it using a diamond wire. This machine allows us to produce slabs with the exact dimensions and thicknesses required for the project.
This step ensures a high level of precision from the outset and prepares the stone for the subsequent carving and shaping stages.

Diamond blade cutting

After the wire cutting stage, we cut the stone slabs using a saw equipped with a diamond blade. This operation allows us to obtain blocks known as “capables ou brut” , with dimensions adapted to the project. Depending on requirements, these blocks can then be machined on our machining centre to create mouldings and specific shapes, or carved by hand and given finishes suited to the work.

Profile wire cutting

The profile wire machine is fitted with a diamond wire specially designed to create mouldings and complex shapes in stone blocks. It enables us to produce cornices, rounded profiles or centred elements with great precision.
Compared to a machining centre, this process saves material and offers a faster execution time, while maintaining a level of quality perfectly suited to this type of work.

5-axis machining centre

Our Brembana G-Rex 5-axis machining centre allows us to work stone with extreme precision. Thanks to this machine, we can create complex shapes, detailed mouldings and technical parts, directly from the project’s 3D model. It offers great creative freedom and guarantees perfect consistency.
This modern tool handles the rough shaping before the artisan’s hand intervenes to bring finishes and character to each piece.

Hand finishing

Once the machining stages are complete, the stone is finished by hand in our workshop. This phase allows us to refine shapes, adjust details and apply the final finish to each piece. Depending on the desired style, we create aged finishes to blend into a rustic or historic environment, or softer, smoother finishes for contemporary projects.
This manual work gives the piece its full character and guarantees a unique result.

MARMOMAC 2024 – Exhibition of Our Sculptures

Last year, we had the great honor of exhibiting two of our sculptures at Marmomac 2024, the world’s largest trade fair dedicated to natural stone, stone carving, and specialized tooling. Taking part in an event of this scale represents a true recognition of our artisanal expertise. Being able to present our work at the heart of such a prestigious gathering was a source of great pride for us. The two sculptures on display fully embodied our vision of the craft: respect for the material, precision of gesture, and a dialogue between tradition and contemporary creation. Their presence at the fair highlighted our artistic and technical standards, while offering exceptional international exposure for our work.

Restoration of the Butter Fountain, Campan

After nearly five months away for restoration work carried out in a workshop in Estigarde (Landes), the famous Butter Fountain of Campan has returned to its place at the heart of the village, restored to its original beauty and looking as good as new. Its inauguration, held on Sunday, June 23, brought together members of the municipal council, the sub-prefect of Bagnères-de-Bigorre Constance Dyèvre, Les Pastourelles de Campan, and several residents of Campan.
